Lenten schedule

Lent begins ...

In the Christian tradition, Lent is a season of personal and communal reflection in preparation for the Easter event known as the Resurrection. This year at Hudson United Methodist Church, the theme will be “Membership Matters: Living Faithfully Beyond the Church Walls.” Pastor Bruce will explore the meaning of church membership and why it matters. Church membership will be framed as an intentional faith commitment to grow spiritually. Each Sunday of Lent (beginning February 21st) will be an encounter with the question raised by the Negro Spiritual: Were you there? Pastor Bruce will examine how each of the five vows will lead to a whole new life that is faithful to Christ beyond the Church Walls.
